On the 12th we celebrated that special day for both these beautiful girls. Natalie (of Andrew and Joy) turned 5, and our Jessica turned 7. Born on the same day these girls made it easy for us, we get to prepare one special day for two of our kids. And even easier, they are both very girly-girls. And yes, so far, only pink will do.
To start of the day the girls got breakfast-in-bed! (no pics sorry) A tradition that was born with one of the kids a few years ago and has now become a favorite must for the happy day! Next, they got to skip school! (another tradition). After quiet-time the girls had a tea party, accompanied by the famous Miss Nesbit (Toy Story lovers beware! HA!) Joy, thank you for assuming that role! You did great!

Here we have the Escalante family! We love you all!
Sheer Joy! We got just the thing. (I will say here that she had told us what she wanted. But, a doll house and a doll house are not the same thing, believe it or not! It must be the right doll house! If that leaves any question marks blinking in your mind, well, you'll feel just a little of what I felt on hearing those words!) But the day was a success! GBP!

Have you ever wondered if you got the right thing for your child? Well, I did. it was the first time that I have had to get something on my own without Hana there to help choose. Well, this face of our daughters put me right at ease! Ha!
